Business Solutions Analyst

The Business Solutions Analyst will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of operational processes that support this logistics company’s new product.

The role will report to the Director of Operations and will work closely with product management, commercial and sales functions by developing and managing robust operational processes to support market and product requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of the product by working closely with Product Management to translate product requirements into robust operation processes from inception through to deployment.
  • Work upstream with sales and product management to scope out operational solutions for new ustomers
  • Develop KPI’s and measures to monitor service performance and provide a reporting suite for Business Review Meetings with internal and external customers
  • Lead the implementation of new process
  • Ensure that IT solutions and reporting suites are consistent with customer and internal requirements
  • Work with product management and other business teams on the development of new product concepts, supporting their development through to live deployment.
  • Become the Operations business owner.
  • Support business process improvement activity using First Choice methodology and tools
  • Support the customer acquisition process, working with Product Management, Commercial and Sales within both the UK and wider Global Mail organisation to exploit new business opportunities.

  • Process driven individual who can take product requirements and translate them into an end to end operational processes - identifying and working with key business owners
  • Strong project management and organisational skill and experience
  • Track record in development and deployment of operational solutions to support new business concepts
  • Excellent numerical and financial skills
  • Excellent report writing skills, with experience of developing business case submissions
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrable track record of successfully implementing new operational process design
  • Process improvement knowledge and skills
  • Excellent customer facing skills
